The 2021-22 NFL season is past its halfway point. Fantasy Football playoffs will start soon and bye weeks will continue to take place. This means those wide receivers like Jaylen Waddle and Michael Pittman Jr. will be out this week. On top of that injuries have started to mount up at this point of the season. It is always a great idea to evaluate backup options so that way fantasy managers are prepared if star players miss time. Here are the Fantasy Football Week 14 wide receiver rankings.
*Ratings are subject to change due to injury reports or possible move to reserve/COVID-19 list*
(Check out the section below for details on players already rumored to possibly miss this week and how their replacement options rank for the week)
Key:
Must Start- a player who is in your lineup regardless of the matchup or most circumstances. They will likely finish near the top of the league in points that week and in most weeks.
Starting WR1- a player who makes fantasy owners comfortable starting week after week. Regardless of the matchup, this player has a high floor.
High WR2- a player who may isn’t likely to carry a lineup that week, but has the ability to have a breakout game and is teetering between WR1 and WR2 category.
Starting WR2- a player who should be started in most lineups and should reach their point projection. This player is started is because of their consistency and moderately high floor
Low WR2- a player who may not be a lock to start for a team every week, but will start more times than not. Their production may not be pretty or win a person their lineup but the production is consistent enough to make a fantasy owner comfortable starting them.
Flex- a player who could float around the territory of being benched, but is started due to the potential to play better than their point projection. However, this player has the potential to flop and causes a fantasy team to lose if he has a bad game.
Deeper League Flex- a player who has starting value in deeper leagues. There are enough reasons to leave this player on the bench, but their upside makes them an attractive option. Desperate times may call for a player like this to be inserted into starting lineups.
Upside Player- a player who is boom or bust. This player can exceed expectations in a given week or could flop and be the reason why someone lost their fantasy matchup.
Leave on the Bench- a player who should be avoided in all lineups that week. Many times this player could even be left on waivers.

Possible Changes that can occur before Sunday
WR4 Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers
Deebo Samuel missed last week’s game against the Seattle Seahawks with a groin injury. He missed practice Wednesday because of that injury. It is unlikely Samuel returns this week against the Cincinnati Bengals but it is possible. If Samuel misses this week’s game then Brandon Aiyuk moves up to WR27 between K.J. Osborn and Darnell Mooney.
Los Angeles Chargers Wide Receivers: WR6 Keenan Allen & WR25 Mike Williams
Both Keenan Allen and Mike Williams has been placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Allen and Williams can be activated before they play the New York Giants this weekend. If both are inactive then Jalen Guyton would move up to WR20 between DeAndre Hopkins and Terry McLaurin. Josh Palmer would join the list at WR32 between Jerry Jeudy and Russell Gage.
If Allen was to miss this week’s game and Mike Williams was active then Mike Williams moves up to WR21 between Terry McLaurin and Amari Cooper. Jalen Guyton would then move up to WR38 between Tre’Quan Smith and Cole Beasley.
If Allen was to play and Williams was inactive, Allen would retain his value. Jalen Guyton would then move up to WR29 between Brandin Cooks Van Jefferson.
WR13 Tee Higgins, Cincinnati Bengals
Tee Higgins is dealing with an ankle injury that held him out of Wednesday’s practice. He isn’t expected to miss this week against the San Francisco 49ers. However if Higgins was to miss this week against the 49ers then Ja’Marr Chase would move up to Higgins’ WR13 slot and Tyler Boyd would move to WR25 between Mike Williams and Odell Beckham Jr.
WR15 Elijah Moore, New York Jets
Elijah Moore missed practice Wednesday with a quad injury. It is unclear whether he will be healthy or not in time for this weekend’s game against the New Orleans Saints. If Moore was to miss this game then Jamison Crowder would then move up to WR28 between Darnell Mooney and Brandin Cooks. New York’s number two receiver would be one of Braxton Berrios, Denzel Mims, Keelan Cole.
WR31 Julio Jones, Tennessee Titans
Julio Jones has bene activated from Injured Reserve after missing the past three games with a hamstring injury. He returned to practice Wednesday. If Jones does not return against Jacksonville this weekend then Nick Westbrook-Ihkine would move up to WR36 between Sterling Shepard and Tre’Quan Smith
New York Giants Wide Receivers: WR36 Sterling Shepard, WR39 Kadarius Toney, WR56 Kenny Golladay
Sterling Shepard is dealing with a quad injury that held him out of New York’s last four games. Kadarius Toney missed New York’s last two games with a quad injury. Kenny Golladay missed practice Wednesday with a rib injury. The New York Giants offense is a mess right now and should be avoided in standard fantasy leagues because of the injuries to the wide receiver and quarterback position.
WR48 Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears
Allen Robinson has missed Chicago’s last three games with a hamstring injury. He could return this week against the Green Bay Packers. If Robinson was to miss this game against the Arizona Cardinals then Marquise Goodwin (if healthy) or Jakeem Grant would join the list at WR60 between Marquez Callaway and Rondale Moore.
