Tagovailoa suffered the injury to his ribs during the Week 2 game against the Buffalo Bills. Jacoby Brissett stepped in for the team and is likely the quarterback until Tagovailoa can return.
So far this season, Tagovailoa has passed for 215 yards, one touchdown and one interception on 54.8 percent completion. Overall in his career, Tagovailoa has 2,029 passing yards, 12 touchdowns and six interceptions on 63.2 percent completion.
Tagovailoa came into the league nursing a hip injury that he suffered in his final season at Alabama. The Dolphins will be worried about Tagovailoa’s health, especially behind a subpar offensive line.
