The Washington homestand weekend was nothing short of incredible from a fantasy perspective. Several players came through with season highs, thanks to an abundance of 5-map matches. Fantasy owners also saw the debut of potential new standouts, and in turn saw their rosters cough up a few zeroes due to playing the previous week’s starters. This week’s waiver targets showed the benefit of being on a team that often finds themselves playing 4 or 5 maps per match.
Tae-hee “Jerry” Min, Boston Uprising
I would say Jerry should be THE waiver add of the week, but I already know he is owned in every league

After double-checking various leagues and platforms, it has come to the attention of The Game Haus that many fantasy owners have forgotten to draft the legend himself. Even worse, those who did draft young Jerry most likely dropped him after seeing Sang-beom “Munchkin” Byeon play week 1. Now is the time to do right after past errors, and pick up Boston’s emerging DPS star. While his stats were inflated thanks to a whopping 7-map series, the foundations for a great fantasy add are there.
Walid “Mouffin” Bassal, Boston Uprising
Mouffin was the second Boston rookie to make their OWL debut last Saturday. Much like his teammate Jerry, Mouffin very much benefited from getting 7 chances at padding his fantasy stats. In a more traditional match, Mouffin does have the skills necessary for a quality fantasy outing. There is still a bit of doubt whether he will continue starting for the Uprising with Thomas “Brussen” Brussen waiting on the bench. For now, scoop up the rookie flex-tank for Boston as he can prove to be the much-needed boost the Uprising have been looking for since the Inaugural Season.
Dong-jae “Schwi” Lee, London Spitfire
Schwi starting over fellow flex-DPS Sang-jun “Babel” Park was one of the more surprising starts of the weekend. The Runaway call-up had a bit of a tough time opening up the series, but certainly found his groove after the half. He displayed plenty of synergy with the rest of the London lineup despite riding the bench for the first week. Most importantly, Schwi’s performance came against the Washington Justice against a hostile crowd. Schwi was able to deliver a solid fantasy performance despite all odds, and very much deserves to find a spot on fantasy rosters.
Kyu-min “SanGuiNar” Lim, London Spitfire
SanGuiNar was a relatively unknown support from Seoul Dynasty farm system, but since entering the league he has undoubtedly made his mark. After this past weekend, SanGuiNar leads the league in environmental kills with 17 – the next closest being a tie between two players with 9. So far, London has struggled to maintain high-level play in their first 3 games of the season but SanGuiNar has improved each and every match. Picking up the surprise stand out for London now will provide benefits down the line.
Probably Owned Players That May be on Waivers
These players may already be on a team but it is very much worth taking a look to see if they are free agent. Sometimes people will drop a player that should have kept, and it is always a good habit to check the waiver wire once in a while.
