Swain is a Noxian general with an infamous reputation on the battlefield. But in Wild Rift, the newly released champion plays as an AP carry who excels at surviving during big skirmishes. His abilities allow him to sustain health, while using his skills to crowd control the enemy.
To help players better wield the Wild Rift new champion, here is a Wild Rift Swain build, going over the potential best items, ability upgrades, and runes for the upcoming new champion.

Swain needs to have a decent amount of health since his goal in a fight is to jump in and become the focus of attention. Therefore, building him as an AP bruiser will likely serve him best. Of course, this build is subject to change once more play testing has been performed, but the items provided here should serve as a great starting base.
Take Flash and Ignite to maximize damage. But for those wanting more mobility options, Flash and Ghost is also a great alternative. If players are opting for support Swain, Flash and Heal is also a viable option.
Swain’s base playstyle relies heavily on him surviving long during a teamfight. Therefore, taking Conqueror to stack throughout a skirmish fits rather well. But for those wanting to opt for more burst damage, taking electrocute works as well.
For Level 1, take Nevermove for the extra lane pressure. It gives good priority because of the crowd control alongside area of effect damage, allowing Swain to control his minion wave effectively. Then Max Death’s Hand, since it’s Wild Rift Swain’s best method of dealing damage, then Vision of Empire — his secondary damaging ability.
There’s little to no use maxing Nevermove first, since the scaling on Death’s Hand and Vision of Empire far outweigh that of Nevermove’s.
