Wild Rift Redeemed Star Guardian Rakan Revealed

The Star Guardian skin line are incredibly popular in League PC. The skin lines flaunts their with magical school uniform themes, dazzling with their clean fits and animations. These champions use their powers to save the universe in the flashiest of ways. And recently, Wild Rift began implementing more of the Star Guardian skins into the mobile. Specifically, Wild Rift Star Guardian Rakan recently made its debut. The skin has two version: Redeemed Star Guardian Rakan, and normal Star Guardian Rakan.

The video introduction for the skin starts off with Rakan surrounded by darkness. He exclaims, “Xayah, save me! Even though I lost my way…” Unless the author of the article is mistaken, the dark side of Rakan’s powers was never highlighted in League of Legends PC. This helps characterize Rakan as a warrior of light, who is often exposed to the darkness. Kind of like Kingdom Hearts! And just like Sora, Rakan is saved by his significant other.

Anyway, players are speculating that Wild Rift Star Guardian Rakan gains his healing powers by taking from others. This aligns with his first ability, since hitting an enemy allows him to heal thereafter. The skin in Wild Rift looks absolutely amazing. The developers definitely don’t lazily create their cosmetics, although they definitely could if they wanted to. Rakan moves have all been revamped, changing many of the animations alongside move colors. They’ve even added different recalls alongside homeguard walking.

In Conclusion

Skins like Wild Rift Star Guardian Rakan really prove that Riot takes no shortcuts for their mobile game. Instead of cutting corners, they recreate already existing skins from scratch, adding extra details and polishing the models for the handheld. Honestly, this is great to see. Even for players who have specific skins on the PC version of the game, repurchasing the cosmetic on Wild Rift really doesn’t feel as bad. The skin developers put plenty of work and love into their creations in Wild Rift, and seeing their hard work result in such amazing skins helps add appeal to Wild Rift. Players just need to wait for the ranked changes to come in, and hopefully the game will be far less toxic and more playable as a whole!
