Wild Rift: Ruination

The Ruination is descending upon Riot causing a torrent of new champions and game modes to come along with it. As one of the few events affecting League of Legends, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra simultaneously, the Ruination is sure to bring about some exciting updates to each game.

The Ruination began as a quest for Viego to revive his wife, but ends with the Blessed Isles being turned to the Shadow Isles. This event is the reason that the Sentinels of Light came into existence. The Sentinels of Light are an organization that fights the Black Mist and other wraiths from the Shadow Isles. Lucian, his father, and Senna are all Sentinels of Light. Lucian and Senna are a light-wielding pair that are releasing together on Wild Rift with the Sentinels of Light event on July 9^th.

Lucian is a high mobility ADC that can string together a smooth cord of combos. His passive resets his dash as his dash activates his own passive. A kit born to stay in the battle for as long as possible while dealing the most damage possible. Lucian has a shorter range than Senna and is able to follow up with ally attacks with great ease. Lucian’s incredibly high-speed combat makes him the perfect addition to broaden Wild Rift’s champion roster.

Senna on the other hand is an excellent support that scales powerfully into the late game. Where Lucian strives off his short-range and mobility, Senna boasts long-range and slow auto attacks. Senna’s playstyle is almost the exact opposite of Lucian, trying to keep the enemy at a range while poking for damage. Senna’s long-range crowd control feels like it always lands, because of its large hitbox and incredible range. This cannon wielder has all type of secrets hidden away in her Black Mist. Her passive scales infinitely with damage and crit chance, and she can turn her allies into wraiths. Be sure to check her out on the Wild Rift.
