Wild Rift news: Ice Dragon leaked

A brand new feature is rumored to be joining Wild Rift, exclusive to the mobile MOBA. According to leaks from Chowz, a reputable Wild Rift dataminer, Ice Dragons are on the horizon for Wild rift!

What does this exactly mean? Well, the new elemental dragon’s stats/buffs haven’t been revealed quite yet. But it’s likely a mobile exclusive elemental drake, offering a stat buff that has been never before seen in League PC.

As a whole, that’s pretty much all that’s known, which is admittedly not a lot. And though not an official confirmation or reveal, Chowz’ reputation as a data miner is pretty good, therefore it’s very likely Ice Drakes will be coming to Wild Rift. The estimated release date for Ice Dragons is during the middle of May, likely part of the next patch update.

Wild Rift has always been trying to venture a little away from League PC’s direction, creating some extra unique distinction for the game’s trajectory. Ice Dragon would be an excellent way of distinguishing itself from its parent. But just like how Star Guardian Seraphine, a once Wild Rift exclusive, was ported into League of Legends PC, there’s a chance Ice Dragon will be moved into League of Legends after it has been tested in the mobile port.

Of course, this remains purely speculation, but Ice Dragon’s eventually making their way into League of Legends isn’t very farfetched, especially considering they’ve implemented Wild Rift exclusive items and features in the past.
