Wild Rift 4.1c patch notes: Thresh nerfed, Lux buffed, more

Publish Date: May 11, 2023

The brand new patch is here. But as with most “c” patch iterations, Wild Rift 4.1c is a rather small update. Rather than striving to drastically shift the game’s balance, it instead simply adds minor changes targeted towards stabilizing the meta by either buffing outlier picks or nerfing some overwhelmingly strong picks.

There’s a total of nine champion balance changes, and one item change.

What’s changing in Wild Rift patch 4.1c?

Thresh nerf

The chain sickle wielding champion is receiving nerfs to his third ability, Flay. This nerf decreases the scaling damage for his auto attacks, which should help people trade against him. But as a whole, it’s a very small change.

Lux buff

Previously, her Prismatic Barrier provided too much utility, so the developers nerfed the skill ages ago. But now, Lux is receiving a buff to her second ability, Prismatic Barrier. It now has significantly lower cooldown, which should allow the pick to see more play as a support castor.
