Though the champion not officially confirmed, data mines have discovered Wild Rift Vladimir to release in Wild Rift. Similar data mines pointed towards Nilah joining the game — and with Nilah having been officially confirmed by Riot themselves, Vladimir’s eventual release is almost guaranteed.
This then begs the question, ‘what is the Wild Rift Vladimir release date?’
Though there is no official release date quite yet, the new Wild Rift champion will likely release around August 10. This is during the middle of Wild Rift patch 4.3a. Since Wild Rift Nilah releases during Wild Rift patch 4.3, Vladimir will release in the following patch. Unfortunately, it appears they’re going for another single champion release — rather than a double launch.
This means Hecarim won’t be coming out this immediate patch.
The official release date for Vladimir was revealed by Riot. Shown on their patch 4.3a notes, Vladimir launches on August 17 at 00:01 UTC. Per usual, expect an event celebrating the champion’s release.
As for Hecarim’s release date, it’s likely the champion will launch in Wild Rift patch 4.3b — since it appears Riot is going for a single champion release per patch rather than the double launch that they’ve made a routine.
It’s uncertain as to why they’ve opted for a sudden change in champion release schedules — but it’s likely that the Wild Rift team has been undergoing struggles as of late. This is assumed due to the sheer amount of miscommunications and game breaking changes they’ve implemented in the game, which indicate a certain degree of lack of organization on their end.
