What is the Wild Rift Release Date?

The Wild Rift Open Beta is hitting the Americas in the next few weeks. Mobile League of Legends is something that people have been wanting for quite a while. Especially as many people turn towards mobile gaming. Now, fans may be wondering what is the release date for Wild Rift?

When looking at how Riot Games have handled releases such as TFT or VALORANT one can see a trend. They test out their games in the Americas when they are closest to releasing. This should mean that maybe a month or two in the Americas open beta will allow for the Wild Rift to fix any major bugs. Also it will allow for them to test the new systems they put in place to help with latency and connection.

The hope will be a full release for Wild Rift in the coming months. If one had to guess, the release date for Wild Rift will be sometime around the end of May or early June. The patches that would correspond to that are 11.11 and 11.12 on May 26 and June 9 respectively.

Overall this is a much-anticipated game. After copycat games like Mobile Legends have been on mobile for so long, League of Legends will finally be put on the market as well.

It will be interesting to see how Riot Games handles the esport that inevitably will be created with this game. In many regions where mobile is the preferred method of playing video games, this opens up a whole new avenue for League of Legends as a whole.
