Deadlock has been out in early access since August of 2024, with its peak player count coming in the following month. Since then, fans have been wondering when this game will fully release. So, what is the release date of Deadlock and how much do we know so far? Let’s take a look.
As of right now, we do not currently know the release date of Valve’s MOBA hero-shooter, Deadlock. Our best guess is that Valve will continue making smaller changes to the game now that the larger adjustments to the map have been made, and we will get a release around Q4 of 2025. However, this is purely speculative, as developers have not given us any information about a full release of Deadlock so far.
Currently, Deadlock has a fraction of the player base it once had, largely taking a backseat to games like Marvel Rivals and others that have been released in the past several months, with a player count hovering at around 10,000-15,000 most days. However, this number may continue to drop as the game continues to live in early access for longer and longer. Perhaps this will urge Valve to release the game sooner rather than later.
