For the past few days there were leaks and rumors coming from a few individuals. The one who was not only correct but most on it was George Geddes of DotEsports. He was the one to break the news that major organizations like TSM, G2 and OpTic would not be accepted into the first year of VCT. With that, here is who for each region.
For those teams that did not make it, there will be the chance that they can play their way in. There will be one new team added to each region for the next few years. It is certainly not an easy round and the Tier 2 scene will have some pretty intense games, but the path to being at the top is certainly there for the taking.
