FunPlus Phoenix defeat XERXIA Esports 2-1
FPX Win Bind 14-12; XIA Win Ascent 13-9; FPX Win Haven 13-10
XIA’s map pick of Bind had them taking an early lead with the pistol and bonus rounds, claiming a 7-5 attacker half. However, FPX would fight back off of the performance of Mathias “SEIDER” Seider on Viper, who would finish the map with a 19/15/7 K/DA. SEIDER acts as a temporary substitute to Dmitry “SUYGETSU” Ilyshin for the Groups Stage following visa issues. The map would be littered with many scattered fights and individual clutches, going to overtime where FPX would take both regulation rounds 14-12.

Ascent would open the exact opposite way, with FPX taking the pistol round, but dropping their attacker half 5-7. Although they would take the pistol and bonus rounds again, XIA would retain firm control of the lead and close the map 13-9. Thanachart “Surf” Rungapajaratku on Jett would perform with a 311 ACS and a 23/15/3 K/DA, alongside boasting a 7-2 first kill/death ratio. Haven would be the decider map, with both teams trading rounds back and forth in each half. XIA would at most get three rounds in a row, while FPX would slowly widen their lead with their record of four consecutive rounds. This would lead to FPX winning Haven 13-10, and closing the series 2-1 to proceed to the Winner’s Qualifier.
Guild Esports lock playoffs against KRÜ Esports 2-1
KRÜ Win Bind 14-12; GLD Win Fracture 13-6; GLD Win Icebox 16-14
KRÜ would first pick Bind, taking the pistol and bonus rounds with an attacker start. However, Guild quickly retaliated, taking the majority rounds of the half to start in the lead 7-5. Starting their defender side, KRÜ would again win the pistol and bonus rounds, tying the score. Although Guild retaliated on the first rifle rounds, KRÜ’s momentum would prove too hard to stop, with KRÜ winning in overtime 14-12. Map 2 would be Fracture, Guild’s map pick, and would be their most dominant map in the series. Guild would win the pistol, bonus and first rifle rounds on their attacker half, opening with a 9-3 score. This lead would close the map quickly, following a round 16 ace from Saif “Sayf” Jibraeel, with Guild winning 13-6.

However, Guild would fight back on their defender side, consistently succeeding on retakes and defuses to lead to overtime. They would take seven rounds in the half, with six defuses. On the other side, KRÜ would only claim five rounds, all from team elimination. In regulation, rounds would trade back and forth, with both teams only succeeding on the defense once more. However, Guild would claim Round 29 on the attacker side before closing the series 16-14.
