VALORANT Map Lotus Revealed in Latest Trailer

Publish Date: January 6, 2023

VALORANT is seemingly back on track with their map additions. After skipping over Episode 4, there will now be new maps in back-to-back episodes. This is a great thing for VALORANT fans as these maps are generally creative and interesting in the way they help players attack either Point A or B. VALORANT Episode 6 is coming up soon and players have been getting antsy to learn more about the maps. Luckily that wait is over as the latest trailer has shown off the newest VALORANT Map, Lotus.

This map has been teased by the VALORANT Twitter Account for the past few days. There were also rumors of a new map coming with Episode 6. Many did not expect it to be so soon though.

This map certainly gives off the vibe of coming from India. The Lotus alone but the temple-like structures as well help to give it a certain aesthetic.

It will be interesting to see how players feel about the map once it is completely released. The topdown view of the map has not officially been revealed yet. That will give a lot more context than these pictures as it will allow for players to start to strategize how they will play once the map comes out.

Lastly, seeing how the Lotus is such a big part of the map, many will wonder if it has anything to do with the story or the next agent. Since there is no agent in Act 1 of Episode 6, there is still a chance there will be one in Act 2 or 3 with ties to this map. This would be similar to how Harbor was connected to Pearl.
