VALORANT has a new Episode coming out soon and with it, a new agent. It has felt like some time since fans were able to play a new agent. Gekko was released all the way back in March or two Acts ago. There have been a few new teasers for this agent but the most recent one revealed the name just after the Codename was revealed as well. The next VALORANT Agent name has been leaked to be Deadlock. Here is what is known so far.
The initial leak of the name for this new VALORANT agent was by ValorLeaks on Twitter. They are a known leaker for VALORANT and generally get information a few days or sometimes a few minutes before the official reveal. Below is the Tweet.
This comes just days after the codename was revealed to be Cable. What this means is still anyone’s guess but there are some rumors about what it might mean.
ValorLeaks is connected and they have given some information so far.
They are claiming that this new agent will be a she. Also that her abilities will be related to the winter. With a previous hint, it looks like she might be a hacker as well. Lastly, she has a Bear.
This is reminiscent of Wojtek, a bear that fought with the Polish army during World War II. If VALORANT adds something similar, there is no doubt that this bear could be quite the popular character for fans.
There will certainly be more coming out during the next few days as players prepare for Episode 7 to release soon as well.
DEADLOCK OFFICIALLY LEAKED
When looking at the release date for this new agent it is pretty clear that she is coming with the next season, Episode 7 Act 1. The release date for that is June 27, 2023. That means that it is coming up quickly. So with that, the reveal for Deadlock is likely coming soon as well.
Look for the VALORANT Deadlock Release Date to be with the new Episode and Act on June 27, 2023.
