VALORANT has a new Episode coming out soon and with it, a new agent. It has felt like some time since fans were able to play a new agent. Gekko was released all the way back in March or two Acts ago. There have been a few new teasers for this agent but the most recent one revealed the name just after the Codename was revealed as well. The next VALORANT Agent name has been leaked to be Deadlock and here is what is known about her Abilities so far.

All Abilities Leaked
All of these leaks are from known leaker, ValorLeaks on Twitter and Esports.gg.
Ability 1– Deadlock Ability: GravNet (C) | #VALORANT Equip a GravNet grenade. Fire to throw or Alt Fire to lob the grenade underhand. The GravNet detonates upon landing, forcing any enemies caught within to crouch and move slowly.
Ability 2– Deadlock Ability: Sonic Sensor (Q) | #VALORANT Equip a Sonic Sensor. Fire to deploy. The sensor monitors an area for enemies making sounds. It concusses that area if footsteps, weapons fire, or significant noise are detected.
Ability 3– Deadlock Ability: Barrier Mesh (E) | #VALORANT Equip a Barrier Mesh disc. Fire to throw forward. Upon landing, the disc generates barriers from the origin point that block character movement.
Ultimate–
Annihilation (X)
EQUIP a Nanowire Accelerator. FIRE to unleash a pulse of nanowires that captures the first enemy contacted. The cocooned enemy is pulled along a nanowire path and will die if they reach the end, unless they are freed. The nanowire cocoon is destructible.
It looks as though the initial Tweet from ValorLeaks on Twitter has been deleted. Here is what was said so far.
While the nickname is important, it is interesting to note that cables will be a main part of this agent’s kit. It is hard not to wonder if there will be anything vertically involved with the agent. Could they use the cables to hang from something or work their way up a wall? Could it even be a dash in the similar vain of using ODM gear in Attack on Titan or like Camille in League of Legends, another Riot Games title? Regardless, this agent could be a very fun addition.
With the leak of her name being VALORANT Deadlock, it would seem as though some of the traps that were initially mentioned in the leak could be very true.

All the Official Teasers
Below was the latest teaser put out by the VALORANT Twitter account.
This is not a ton to go on considering this is the first one. That being said it is clear that Sova is heading in to find something or someone. He says still no signs of life so unless they find another robot like KAY/O, there will be life in the next teaser.
There was also some context given by the ValorLeaks Twitter account.
This account is very knowlegable mostly because it seems like they work with the VALORANT devs to some degree. With that, it is clear that whatever they are saying is more of a hint and a bit of a leak. They are claiming that this new agent will be a she. Also that her abilities will be related to the winter. With a previous hint, it looks like she might be a hacker as well. Lastly, she has a Bear.
This is reminiscent of Wojtek, a bear that fought with the Polish army during World War II. If VALORANT adds something similar, there is no doubt that this bear could be quite the popular character for fans.
There will certainly be more coming out during the next few days as players prepare for Episode 7 to release soon as well.
