VALORANT Deadlock Abilities Officially Leaked

VALORANT has a new Episode coming out soon and with it, a new agent. It has felt like some time since fans were able to play a new agent. Gekko was released all the way back in March or two Acts ago. There have been a few new teasers for this agent but the most recent one revealed the name just after the Codename was revealed as well. The next VALORANT Agent name has been leaked to be Deadlock and the abilities are getting leaked as well.

Leaks

All of these leaks are from known leaker, ValorLeaks on Twitter and Esports.gg.

Ability 1– Deadlock Ability: GravNet (C) | #VALORANT Equip a GravNet grenade. Fire to throw or Alt Fire to lob the grenade underhand. The GravNet detonates upon landing, forcing any enemies caught within to crouch and move slowly.

Ability 2– Deadlock Ability: Sonic Sensor (Q) | #VALORANT Equip a Sonic Sensor. Fire to deploy. The sensor monitors an area for enemies making sounds. It concusses that area if footsteps, weapons fire, or significant noise are detected.

Ability 3– Deadlock Ability: Barrier Mesh (E) | #VALORANT Equip a Barrier Mesh disc. Fire to throw forward. Upon landing, the disc generates barriers from the origin point that block character movement.

Ultimate–

Annihilation (X)

EQUIP a Nanowire Accelerator. FIRE to unleash a pulse of nanowires that captures the first enemy contacted. The cocooned enemy is pulled along a nanowire path and will die if they reach the end, unless they are freed. The nanowire cocoon is destructible.

Initially, it looks as though Deadlock will have something to do with ables ot at least the traps part of the initial ValorLeaks leak. Players will be hoping that she can bring something new as most VALORANT agents have. It is going to be worth watching as more agents come out how Riot Games and the VALORANT devs are able to think up new abilities for these agents.

Regardless, there will likely not be another agent coming out for some time. Probably until near the end of the year. So players will have some time to figure out Deadlock’s strengths and weaknesses. She will probably be very popular as players get used to playing her early on during her release.
