On Tuesday, October 6, VALORANT answered the question that was one everyone’s mind – what do those cryptic tweets mean? Coming in Act III, VALORANT players will get a chance to battle on a new map, titled “Icebox”.

The snowy map will be the second map introduced into the game since it’s launch, and the fifth map overall. Following in line with the other maps, it looks like Icebox will have a unique movement aspect to the map. In a quick glimpse in the announcement trailer, there appears to be a horizontal zipline players can use. Similar to the ropes seen on Split, it looks like players can zip across the large room, and zip down to a lower area.

Players will be excited to test out a new map, after a long period of having only four maps since Ascent’s release back in June. Check out the fierce tundra when Act III drops later this month.
