The next Act of VALORANT is coming up soon and fans will be wondering who the next agent might be? While there has not always been a new agent with each Act, generally the VALORANT dev team have been good about communicating that. There is new information on a potential new agent. Here is what is known about the potential leak of VALORANT Agent Codename SmokeDancer.
[Realted: VALORANT VCT LOCK//IN Capsule Revealed]
One of the more known leakers is @ValorLeaks on Twitter. He has clearly very good sources as he is normally a few hours ahead of everyone else in terms of and potential skin leaks or Agent leaks. With this also comes so deeper leaks such as Codenames for new agents. See his Tweet below.
When it comes to these though, they may not mean much. Sometimes characters in any game get to just a codename. Then after that, they start development.
When it comes to VALORANT many of these code names like BountyHunter have come about in the form of different agents. Generally, these code names are a clue into what the agent’s abilities and theme might be.
Thinking of SmokeDancer, there will clearly be something to do with smokes. There are agents with these smokescreen type of abilities in the game already. How they will be able to make this SmokeDancer different will be interesting. There is a chance that maybe they are able to run faster or even have a small dodge chance in any smoke?
Regardless, it will be worth watching to see if the next agent revealed has anything to do with dancing or with smoke as this was what was clearly referenced by the leaker in their Tweet.
