With the announcement of VALORANT it was clear that Riot Games wanted it to be competitive at the highest level. Many wondered if they would follow the competitive path of League of Legends or CSGO. Would it be focused on major tournaments or franchising? Well, Riot Games recently announced that it would be taking the path of franchising. That means many will be applying to get into their league and TSM VALORANT are no exception.

It is clear that TSM and the higher-ups believe in not just VALORANT and Riot Games but their vision for the VALORANT franchising system.
From the start of Riot Games and their headline game, League of Legends, TSM was there. Led by current CEO Andy “Reginald” Dinh, TSM have always been at the beginning of leagues for games from Riot Games. This was mentioned during the video seen above. This is due to their trust in the company to create a great esports league.
When VALORANT came out it was not a surprise to see TSM invested so heavily into it. Quickly the team became one of the most popular teams in the world. This was due to players like Wardell and Subroza. Now with the opportunity to compete at the highest level and have a permanent spot, TSM are jumping at the chance again.
As of right now, not much is known outside of the bones and parts of the structure for this new system. It seems as though it will follow a similar path as League of Legends but there will only be three bigger regions. The teams will compete to play in Masters and Champions tournaments. With the leagues themself will being on LAN.
