Publish Date: July 5, 2022

VALORANT NA Game Changers Series Two is going to kick off on July 6, 2022 and feature eight of the best women’s teams competing in a double-elimination bracket for a $50,000 USD prize pool. The top teams of each region’s Game Changers circuit will go to Championships this fall in Berlin.

Where to Watch

The tournament will primarily be streamed on the official VALORANT Twitch and Youtube. For the first two days, matches are scheduled to take place simultaneously, so VALORANT will be utilizing a secondary stream on the same channels. There will also be streams of the matches by Dignitas, a licensed esports organization, and RadiantGG, a gaming initiative focused on opportunities for women gamers.

The Competition

Cloud9 White

Cloud9 White is currently the top performer in the Game Changers NA bracket. Although they had to forfeit a match in the open qualifiers, they still hold a strong lead after championing Game Changers Series One earlier this year.

Shopify Rebellion

Shopify Rebellion claim to be the “scrappy misfits” or the esports scene. Their 61% win rate edges close to Cloud9 White’s 64%. As the current second-place team, they stand a chance to take down the current reigning champs.

Dignitas Female

Dignitas has an 18 year history of covering esports and gaming, and now their female VALORANT team has a chance at winning it big. They’re close behind second in the circuit point rankings for NA.

TSM X

TSM are the stylish contenders from Canada. Despite being in the middle of the pack, TSM X is tied with Immortals for their win rate of 69%, although they have far more matches under their belt.

Immortals

Immortals are the champions from the Great Lakes. They have yet to win a series, but came close this April as second place in the Pittsburgh Knights Sakura Cup.

Dart Monkeys

The Dart Monkeys are the amateur competitors with their loveable plush monkey mascot. They might seem like true underdogs, but they managed to beat the big-name XSET Female in the qualifiers 2-0 and boast the highest win rate of 71%.

Ariana Grande Perfume and Sanri-O’s

These teams have no past record or organization, but will have the chance to make a name for themselves in this series.

Schedule

Wednesday, July 6 – 1:00pm PST (4pm EDT) and 4pm PST (7pm EST)

Thursday, July 7 – 1:00pm PST (4pm EDT) and 4pm PST (7pm EST)

Friday, July 8 – 1:00pm PST (4pm EDT) and 4pm PST (7pm EST)

Saturday, July 9 – 1:00pm PST (4pm EDT) and 5pm PST (8pm EST)

Hosts

The Main Series Two matches will be hosted by Jacki Ling, Sue “Smix” Lee, and Sierra Dawn.

Format

Eight teams will be competing in a double-elimination bracket determined by placement in the open qualifier and previous map records. The event will include Breeze in the map pool for the first time in an official event, other than the open qualifier. All matches are best-of-three, and the grand finals will be best-of-five.
