The VALORANT Game Changers 2022 Circuit has just been announced, with Champions Berlin as the final tournament. Teams compete for limited slots and the opportunity to compete to be crowned as the first ever Game Changers Champions. In North America, eight teams fight in the playoffs for first place and crucial Circuit Points. Cloud9 White emerge as Game Changers Series II Champions, taking down Shopify Rebellion GC 3-1 on July 9, 2022.

Cloud9 White initially entered Game Changers Series II with a perfect Swiss Stage and a 4-0 map differential. They beat BEKNZ+ 13-1, Sanri-O’s 13-2, and VersionX 2-0 in a 13-7 Haven and 13-8 Fracture. However, in the Closed Qualifier, Cloud9 White would forfeit their match against Immortals due to joining late and attributed issues with the Riot Client. They would bounce back in the Lower Bracket, continuing their dominance with a 2-0 victory over Gen.G Black and a 2-1 over Misfits Black to qualify for the main event.
The first round of the GC Series II playoffs would have Cloud9 White face off against Immortals again, this time ending in a dominant 2-0 for Cloud9 White. Immortals would only take nine rounds off the entire series. However, Cloud9 White would suffer their first ever GC loss in a 1-2 defeat to Shopify Rebellion GC, who most recently signed Benita “bENITA” Novshadian. From this loss, the Lower Bracket incensed Cloud9 White, who w. They would defeat Sanri-O’s, Dignitas and TSM X all in 2-0s, with only TSM X getting to double digits in one map.
Defeating TSM X would lead to a rematch in the Grand Finals against Shopify Rebellion GC. Through a grueling four map series which led to overtime on map four of Breeze, Cloud9 White would take the series 3-1 and defend their title of NA Game Changers Series II Champions. SR.GC would take Icebox 13-7, but Cloud9 White would win Ascent 13-11, Fracture 13-11 and Breeze 14-12 in overtime.
Cloud9 White not only defend their undefeated title streak, but earn 80 VCT Game Changers Circuit Points. They now sit at 160 points overall on the math to Champions Berlin. North America has Series 3 left for qualification, with Shopify Rebellion GC at second place with 120 points. The winner of Series 3 and the highest Circuit Points team will represent NA at Champions Berlin in November 2022.
