Simon Bolivar is the new Leader coming to Civ 7 in Patch 1.1.1, which is now live and in the game for you to try for yourself. So, to help get you off to a strong start with the new Leader, here is the Civ we recommend most in each Age to best synergize with Bolivar’s abilities, which give you War Support on all Wars, and benefits to Settlements that you conquer.
Rome aligns well with Simon Bolivar, as you will have a focus on getting your Legatus as strong as possible and charging through opponents’ territory with a Militaristic emphasis. Mongolia is the Exploration Age Civ for violence and destruction, but they are somewhat limited on long-range movement to different continents. To close out, we go with Prussia, another Civ that is unlocked from the Rome pick in Antiquity. This is among your best choices for a pure Military finish, outside of the French Empire potentially. Either way, you will want to use the Hussar unit, charge forward, and look to close out your Military victory in the Modern Age with Prussia.
