This set name was confirmed to be Gizmos and Gadets by broadcaster, Erik “DoA” Lonnquist during the TFT Set 5.5 Dawn of Heroes Championship Finals.
It makes sense with the new mechanics of the set already being confirmed to be Hextech Augments. That along with many of the champions already revealed and this could be a very interesting set. For many in TFT Set 5 was solid and introduced an interesting way to play the game with the Ruined Items and eventually the Blessing Orbs but some felt it was not their best set.
Now this new set will seemingly bring back some old ideas like the different aspects seen in set 3. But they will also bring completely new ideas and ways to play champions. Also, some champions that have yet to be in TFT, like Quinn, are likely making their way into the game for the first time.
The release date for TFT Set 6 Gizmos and Gadgets is already confirmed to be in early November with Patch 11.22 which means the PBE should only be weeks away. With that, one can assume that more information will be on the way in the near future as the PBE release is generally when everything is seen for the first time.
