Today, September 6, @Mortdog tweeted out a preview of the coming changes in patch 9.18. These changes are set to go live on September 11, with the full details of the notes being released on the 10th. Until then, these changes are tentative and subject to change. Here is the preview:
TFT – It's Friday before a patch which means preview time. The new Loot Distribution is the big headliner of the patch, as well as buffing under used units/items/traits. Should be fun!

This patch was supposed to have all of the new items in it but that has now been moved back to Patch 9.19 other than Neeko’s Help. This is an item that is a consumable on a champion and creates a level one version of that champ. Also, the new Loot Distribution system will be live which brings a very different way of getting loot than had been seen before. More gold and items in mini loot boxes that could drop any number of either depending on what part of the game the player is in.
Along with all of the Buffs and Nerfs is hopefully a real fix on Luden’s Echo. In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest Origin, Class, Champion and Item tier lists from The Game Haus and stay tuned for more upcoming news on the latest patches and tournaments.
