The day after releasing one of it’s most significant patches to-date, TFT continues to make major strides forward. Today, it was confirmed by League of Legends that the game mode has over 33 million in its monthly player base and that it will be officially striving towards starting a competitive scene in 2020. These are two major figures for the game and indicate major success despite its relatively short existence.
Below is a chart displaying the number of hours played since launch per day, further illustrating TFT’s positive trajectory.

Additionally, TFT now has it’s own Twitter account. From here forward, @TFT will serve as the hub for all TFT news and updates. This will replace the somewhat decentralized reporting so far, which has primarily come from lead developer @Mortdog.
All in all, this progress report is nothing but positive for a game that has just only reached it’s first set of goals in the beta. TFT’s next major event will be the All-Star Event taking place in Las Vegas from December 5th-7th.
In the meantime, be sure to check out the latest Origin, Class, Champion and Item tier lists from The Game Haus and stay tuned for more upcoming news on the latest patches and tournaments.
