Yesterday, Riot released a hot-fix to patch 11.6, making small changes to finalize the state of the game before the Teamfight Tactics Fates World Championship, taking place from April 7 to April 9.
Tristana, already a target of nerfs in the patch’s initial release, received further adjustments. Her Rapid Fire on-hit damage in her one star form increased from 30 magic damage to 40, and her three star form on-hit damage decreased from 90 magic power to 80.
Kayle’s power was slightly tuned down as well, with her Divine Ascension wave bonus damage in her two and three star forms decreasing, from 150 magic damage to 140, and 400 magic damage to 350, respectively.
“Because this is the patch Worlds events will be played on, we are taking extra care to make more minor adjustments. We’re reducing the power of starred-up Tristana and Kayle carries as well as the Mage trait, that have all been performing a smidgen too well.”, Riot said.
In addition, the Mage synergy was subject to a slight nerf, with the Mage bonus spell power decreasing at seven Mage from 135% to 130%.
Neeko was the only unit buffed in the micro-patch, increasing her Blooming Burst magic damage by 50 at all ranks. “The Neeko buff gives her favorite composition, Vanguard-Mystics, a small buff after our Vanguard nerf last patch,” said Riot.
Lastly, Riot fixed a bug with Veigar, where his spell would fail to finish casting if he was stunned mid-cast.
With this hot-fix live on the servers, Riot has finalized the state of the game for The TFT Fates World Championship, where 24 of the best players from around the world will compete for a $250,000 prize pool.
