Teamfight Tactics Champion Tier List Patch 9.24: Senna Makes Her Presence Known

Publish Date: December 16, 2019

Rise of the Elements is out and well everything has changed. Many will be jumping in and wondering what is good and bad. So after putting in some serious hours here are TGH’s current tiers.

Here is our latest elemental tier listclass tier list, item tier list.

This list will consider everything about the champions including cost, classes and origins as a whole. They are in alphabetical order not of most powerful to least.

Overall Tier Lists

Tier 1:
  • Amumu
  • Diana
  • Ezreal
  • Ivern
  • LeBlanc
  • Lucian
  • Maokai
  • Renekton
  • Senna
  • Veigar
  • Vladimir
  • Zyra

All three new champions make it onto this list? What a coincidence. Anyways, Amumu is definitely the weaker of the three but he is up here because he provides so much value for Warden and Inferno comps while also being a damage and crowd control threat. Also on here are the always fun Woodland and Druid champs, minus Neeko. LeBlanc is very strong and hyperolling Ivern and Maokai is still pretty viable. The best champ in the game right now though is Senna. She can be useful in so many comps because of her ability. Add in a Morello and watch her top the damage charts every round.

Tier 2:
  • Aatrox
  • Annie
  • Brand
  • Dr. Mundo
  • Jax
  • Kha’Zix
  • Kindred
  • Kog’Maw
  • Malzahar
  • Nasus
  • Nautilus
  • Nocturne
  • Olaf
  • Rek’Sai
  • Singed
  • Soraka
  • Syndra
  • Thresh
  • Vayne
  • Volibear
  • Yasuo
  • Yorick

This is probably the most champs in one tier in awhile. The noteworthy champs start with Jax making it back up. With Lights being strong he is a sneaky carry champion that if built correctly can win the entire game seemingly by himself. Next are the dynamic duo of Olaf and Volibear. They are crucial to any Glacial comp. Add in either Zed or Ornn and Volibear can specifically punish many teams. The last champion of note is Yasuo. With one other Blademaster and Yasuo can seemingly carry any game. Give him a Warmogs and Statikk Shiv and he will do some serious damage while seemingly living forever.

Tier 3:
  • Ashe
  • Azir
  • Braum
  • Janna
  • Lux
  • Malphite
  • Neeko
  • Ornn
  • Qiyana
  • Sion
  • Sivir
  • Twitch
  • Varus
  • Master Yi

Most of these champions have their uses but are pretty limited or just filler pieces. Sion and Yi specifically can be useful but most of the time Sion is dying so quickly that he is not able to get his ability off. With the charge time on it, he suffers even more. Also now that Shadow is 3/6 now this hurts as well. Rangers are not in the worst place, they just aren’t top tier which is why Ashe, Twitch and Varus are sitting here. Twitch is a solid option for finishing Poison but by the time a Twitch is useful, rolling for a Singed is even better. Lastly, Malphite definitely has his uses but Amumu has currently taken his spot unless Warden, Mage is being run specifically with Taliyah in mind. It is worth noting that Mountain could definitely use another champion in a future patch.

Tier 4:
  • Nami
  • Skarner
  • Taliyah
  • Taric
  • Warwick

The one great thing about this list is that it is so short. Most champions are pretty useful right now. Nami isn’t horrible but how often is she really that useful with the current comps? Skarner is sadly pretty bad because Rek’Sai and Nocturne are just better for soaking up damage for Preds. Even with her buff, Taliyah is still very vulnerable. Taric never gets his ability off in time and Warwick is in Glacial or Pred comps. That’s it, Warwick is kinda just there even though he is a valuable piece of both comps, he is still extremely useless in terms of personal identity.

This list will change and be updated with each new patch.
