[Update: TFT’s 9.20 patch notes are officially out and can be accessed by clicking on this link. They will go live on Wednesday, October 9.]
Today the anticipated changes for TFT’s 9.20 patch notes were announced on Twitter by @Mortdog. These changes should be set to go live on the PBE immediately and should be expected to hit live servers sometime in the next couple of weeks, per the usual schedule. Here are the changes coming.
Some Good, but Also Some Unexpected Changes
These changes, for the most part, appear to be ones that should come as a welcome to players, especially as it pertains to the first two items crafted using Sparring Gloves, Dethblade and Quicksilver. Additionally, Volibear and Kaisa are two champs that were in need of buffs and gladly got them.
Some, on the other hand, were less than expected changes. Aatrox in particular already seems quite strong, so it will be interesting to see how much he is truly getting buffed in these coming patch notes. On the side of nerfs, Theif’s Gloves is a good nerf to be sure, but Frozen Heart isn’t one that most would have expected to have been nerfed.
As far as compositional and meta changes, expect to see a lot more Blademaster and Gunslinger compositions, especially in light of the change to Gunslinger that Mort tweeted about earlier this week. That, in conjunction with the buffs to Aatrox, Fiora, Lucian and Gangplank could make these two classes quite strong in the coming weeks.
Just locked down the 9.20 TFT changes…they should be on PBE tomorrow. The spiciest one:

As a reminder with all of these changes, there is still time for tweaks to be made before going live. The Game Haus will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
