The New Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighter Will Be From ARMS

In a surprising Nintendo Direct, it was announced that the New Super Smash Bros Ultimate Fighter will be from the ARMS series. This fighter will be the first one from the second volume of the next fighter pass. as previously shown and announced, this pass will have six fighters instead of five. The expected release date for this next fighter will be in June of this year.

The only thing stated in the Nintendo Direct is that they need more time to develop the fighter which is why it is not being released yet. Also, they have not revealed which character from the series it will be. It seems possible that all the fighters shown below could have a chance to be the main one or they could all be skin variants for the fighter overall. The only issue with this is the size and abilities of most of these fighters don’t exactly match up. What is more likely is that they are teasing all of them and throwing some in as Spirits and potential items for the future.
