During the 2020 Game Awards, Sephiroth from the Final Fantasy series was revealed to be the new character to join the Super Smash Brothers Universe. This came as a major surprise to everyone as many thought Cloud would be the only character from that universe to join the game. Now his archenemy will be a playable character. Here is a look at some in-game photos of him.

He will be coming to Super Smash Brothers Ultimate in December and will be the third character to come with the second DLC Fighter Pass. His abilities are unknown but he does have his sword which may be to the chagrin of many players. That said he will also likely use many of his abilities from the game and a sneak peek at the end of the game may have shown off his Final Attack.
