Nintendo Direct Announces New Fighter in Terry Bogard, Banjo & Kazooie are Live and More Characters Coming

At today’s Nintendo Direct, they revealed that Banjo & Kazooie were live but what was more surprising was the reveal of a new character, Terry Bogard from the Fatal Fury series. He will be available in November as the fourth character of the Fighter Pass.

It is likely that since he was in a fighting game that he will play similarly to Ken and Ryu. Terry has also been in Garou: Mark of the Wolves, The King of Fighters and the Capcom vs SNK series. This likely is why he was added as he has played a prominent roll in fighting games for a long time.

The last thing that was revealed and possibly the most important thing for most Super Smash Bros fans is that they won’t stop at just five characters. Instead, they have confirmed that there are more characters in development. A number was not given out and there was no mention of a new pass, yet. It will be interesting to see if favorites that aren’t in the game like Waluigi will finally get their shot.
