
After six years of Street Fighter V, Street Fighter 6 was officially announced. This comes after Luke Sullivan was already announced as the last fighter or character to be added to the fighting game. Many speculated that a reveal of some type would be coming soon after. With the announcement of one of the biggest fighting games in the world, many fans will be wondering, is Street Fighter 6 Crossplay?

Street Fighter has created some of the most famous fighting video game characters of all time. Characters like Ryu and Ken are so famous that they have made their way to other games like Super Smash Brothers. Then Chun-Li and M. Bison are some of the most cosplayed characters in history as well. going to a con and not seeing one or even both is a rare occurrence.
What was notable about the initial Street Fighter VI reveal was that Luke Sullivan, the newest fighter was revealed alongside Ryu. Does this mean that every fighter in Street Fighter V will be making their way over or is the newest fighter going to be a regular addition? It will be interesting to see who is on the base roster as time goes on.
Street Fighter 6 will be coming out on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and on PC but not on Macs or on the Nintendo Switch.
With all of those consoles available for players, it is worth wondering whether or not the game will be Crossplay. Luckily, Street Fighter 6 will be Crossplay thus allowing for friends to not have to decide on which system they both need to have.
