Starfield already offers players a wide range of content that they can take part in. Whether that’s creating your own ship, exploring the galaxy, or meeting new companions, it feels like the possibilities are endless. However with how the majority of games today function, more content can be added down the line as DLC. So will there be in-game purchases in Starfield that players can buy?

According to the official ESRB rating for Starfield, microtransactions are planned for the future. The ESRB states that the rating includes a reference to “in-game purchases” While we have no clue what this could mean, knowing Bethesda, it will probably roll out similar to how DLC was added to Fallout 4. One speculation that is forming right now is in reference to the Starfield Shattered Space expansion that is currently in development. However, the question is does the expansion count as an in-game purchase?
In the meantime, the Starfield PC system requirements are currently listed on Steam. The following are the minimum and recommended requirements to be able to run Starfield properly and efficiently. To have the best gameplay experience when adventuring space, players should try to follow these guidelines.
