

Leveling systems in games provide a feeling of progression and completion, allowing players a set way to track their in game strength. But often times, especially in Bethesda games, there is a level cap. This then begs the question, ‘is there a Starfield max level?’
No. There is no max level cap in Starfield. This means players can realistically max out all 82 skills eventually. Therefore, for those contemplating what ability to prioritize, don’t worry too much. Grinding the game will eventually allow for players to level literally everything they want.

There’s an achievement for reaching level 100, but there is no level cap whatsoever.
But there is an estimated time needed to finish the main story. According to sources, playing through Starfield on an average playthrough should take around 30 to 40 hours to complete.
The Starfield main quest is about 20% bigger than previous Bethesda games such as Skyrim and Fallout 4 if that gives an idea of how big the RPG is. While blazing through Starfield isn’t something that’s recommended, it certainly is possible to shorten the playthrough time.
A lot of players are figuring out how long takes to beat the game quickly. According to Washington Post Games Reporter Gene Park, they finished Starfield in 20 hours. They also went on to talk about the endgame content as well as praising it.
