How To Fast Travel In Starfield?

Publish Date: August 31, 2023

Starfield is a massive space RPG filled with adventure and exploration. Given how big the different worlds are, it can be difficult to navigate through everything. Luckily, Starfield provides a fast travel system for players to use. So here’s how players can figure out how to fast travel in Starfield.

How To Fast Travel In Starfield?

Fast traveling in Starfield is relatively a seamless process to do. Whenever players are on a planet they will need to access the surface map. When off planet they will need to use the Starmap. Once a location is already discovered on the surface/Starmap, players will be asked to confirm if they want to travel to the said destination. Keep in mind that a location must be discovered on the maps in order to travel to a location. The ability to teleport to the player’s ship is also possible by pushing the Y button.

How Long Does It Take To Beat Starfield?

Playing through Starfield on an average playthrough should take around 30 to 40 hours to complete. The Starfield main quest is about 20% bigger than previous Bethesda games such as Skyrim and Fallout 4 if that gives an idea of how big the RPG is. While blazing through Starfield isn’t something that’s recommended, it certainly is possible to shorten the playthrough time.
