The Buffalo Bills have traded wide receiver Zay Jones to the Oakland Raiders. They will receive the Raiders’ 2021 fifth round pick.
According to Chris Mortensen, the trade will take place after Duke Williams’ emergence on Sunday.
Yes, that is @BuffaloBills … emergence of Duke Williams at WR paved way for deal with @Raiders, who add Zay Jones to receiving corps. https://t.co/DlGU2FhCyv

In his first NFL start, Williams hauled in a perfect four receptions on four targets. He added 29 yards and a touchdown en route to a Bills win over the Titans.
Jones had been less impressive during his 2019 campaign with Buffalo. He had just seven receptions on 18 targets, with a total of 69 yards. He also has not had a touchdown this year. He did have seven touchdowns in 15 games started last year, but clearly the Bills like what they have in their rookie.
This also comes after the Raiders lost their number one wide receiver to a foot injury. Tyrell Williams sat out Sunday’s game in London, and is questionable for next week. The Raiders are thin at wide out and a fifth round pick is a small price to pay for Jones, who has plenty of upside.
The Buffalo Bills have the winless Dolphins on October 20 following a bye week. The Raiders also have a bye week, taking on the Packers in Lambeau on the 20th.
