- Dillon Brooks, Oregon
The Ducks have a trio of returnees all in consideration for top in their class currently. Chris Boucher will be a senior due to his Junior College transfer status, Tyler Dorsey a sophomore and then there is Dillon Brooks. The junior showed improvements across the board as a sophomore. His shooting percentages rose from the field and from deep. He shot an astounding 47% from the field. Brooks is not the longest or most athletic in the world, but he is certainly proving his worth.
While he only added four minutes per game, he nearly doubled his defensive and offensive win shares. In other words, his time on the floor or usage rose very little but his effectiveness increased greatly. It is also important to note that his assists and assist percentage climbed to nearly double what it was as a freshman. Brooks is not only effective in producing, but also elevating the play of those around him.
