- Justin Jackson, North Carolina
Justin Jackson will not be like a lot of other players on this list. He did not show huge improvements in his game in his sophomore season. Jackson did demonstrate a high amount of consistency. The long, athletic wing puts up stats across the board. He averaged 12. Points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.8 assists on a very deep National Runner-Up North Carolina Tar Heel squad. He appears because without Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson, it is his job to lead the team. He will have some help from Kennedy Meeks and Joel Berry II. However, Jackson is the most dynamic player on the team at this point. If the incoming talented freshman class is to flourish, they will need experienced upperclassman to lean on. As a primary component of this year’s team, Jackson will see a huge spike in production. He will need to work on his deep range this off-season and his defense could use some work, but he is in for one heck of a year.
