This event will introduce players to Cosmog, a Legendary Pokemon with an evolutionary line. It can be earned with the Season of Light Special research throughout this Season of Light event. There will be three different parts that will unlock during this time for players to earn the Legendary Pokemon.
Cosmog comes from the Sun and Moon games and has three more evolutions after its original form. The second in the line is Cosmoem. Then come the two main Legendaries from the Sun and Moon and Ultra Sun and Moon series, Solgaleo and Lunala. The first one looks like a lion and the second is more of a bat. Both of them will be available for the first time in Pokemon Go during this event.
The start date for the Pokemon Go Season of Light was on September 1. It was very quickly after their Pokemon World Championship season that saw the first ever competitive Pokemon Go Champion crowned.
The Pokemon Go Season of Light End Date and time will be December 1, 2022 at 9:59 Local Time.
This means that players will essentially have three full months to complete things like the Special Research and make sure they get all of the Pokemon they want from this time.
