Philadelphia scored most of their points in the first half. They scored first during their opening drive of the game. Jalen Hurts found A.J. He had 72 yards against the Jaguars and shined again in this game. He had a season-high 92 receiving yards against the Arizona Defense. The drive was capped off by a quarterback sneak by Jalen Hurts at the goal line. Goedert also had a role in this as he basically pulled Jalen Hurts into the end zone.
The Eagles kept the momentum going after this drive as C.J. Gardner Johnson picked off Kyler Murray off on the ensuing Cardinals drive. This really was a bad pass by Murray. He took a shot downfield and threw the ball into double coverage. However, the Eagles were unable to do anything with the ball after the interception.
The next scoring drive for the Eagles began late in the first quarter. The drive was started by two huge catches by DeVonta Smith. Jalen Hurts also got a big chunk of yardage that got the Eagles close to the goal line. Hurts would then cap the drive off with another quarterback sneak into the endzone.
