The Buccaneers seem to be heading into the right direction. For so many years the Bucs have been known as a defensive franchise, but slowly they are becoming an offensive juggernaut. Jameis Winston had a great rookie season. Over 4,000 yards, 22 touchdowns and 15 interceptions is impressive. He needs to cut down on the interceptions, but that should be easy as he becomes more experienced. He also has Mike Evans and Vincent Jackson to throw the ball to and with receivers like that, who combined for 107 receptions, 1,749 yards and six touchdowns, it should help Winston continue his development.
Doug Martin is also a security blanket for Winston. Martin ran for 1,406 yards on 288 carries last season. He also had 33 receptions out of the backfield. This offense could become explosive in the next few years and that is why I think they will be in the race for the division and possibly the playoffs.
