OpTic, 3-1
This team had to fight hard to reach the major, with a bruising comeback to defeat HellRaisers 16-14. (A must-watch game.) This team clearly works hard on both their team-play and their anti-strating, and they know themselves well enough to admit when they choke or screw up. No one player carried, and everyone contributed. A model for other NA teams with good sponsorship—you can make the most of it! Defeating HellRaisers, Flipside, and Fluffy Gangsters to qualify isn’t a marathon tryout, though; it’s more like a couple miles around the track, just to show you don’t get winded.Â
