The Minnesota Twins have acquired reliever Sam Dyson for a haul of prospects according to Dan Hayes of The Athletic.

Dyson has a 4-1 record with a 2.47 ERA this season with the Giants. The 31-year-old reliever is having one of the best seasons of his career and now joins a contender.
Minnesota will use Dyson to help bolster their bullpen, which has a 4.33 ERA. The Twins currently sit atop the AL Central by 3.0 games over the Indians.
The Giants will get Prelander Berroa, Jaylin Davis and Kai-Wei Teng, all of whom are prospects, in exchange for Dyson. Berroa is a pitcher with a 4.55 ERA in the Rookie League. Davis is an outfielder who has played at both the Double-A and Triple-A levels this season with a .298 average. Teng has a 4-0 record with a 1.6 ERA in Single-A ball this season.
