The Game Haus will be analyzing the player ratings from Madden 20 of every NFL team. Madden has a daunting task of rating all NFL players and their attributes. While they have the ability to correct some of these rankings with in-season roster updates, there are some issues with some of the initial rankings of players. Here are the Madden 20 questionable ratings: Seattle Seahawks.

Chris Carson- 87

Carson helped the Seahawks have the best rushing attack in the NFL last season. He rushed for 1,151 yards and nine touchdowns in 14 games in 2018. Madden gave Carson an 87 rating for his play, which is a little low for what he produced.

Devonta Freeman was hurt last year, but when he was last healthy for a full season in 2017, he rushed for 865 yards in 14 games. Freeman is coming off the injury this year, but was still given an 89 rating by Madden. Carson should be rated just as high after last season.

Adjusted Rating- 89

K.J. Wright- 81

Wright was injured for a lot of last season and played in just five games. In 2017 though, he played 15 games and had 108 total tackles. Madden seemed to forget how good a player Wright is when healthy, as they gave him just an 81 rating.

His own teammate Mychal Kendricks was given the same rating of 81. Kendricks had 77 tackles in 2017 and played in four games with 19 tackles last season. Wright should be rated higher than Kendricks, even though he is coming off an injury.

Adjusted Rating- 84

Shaquill Griffin- 80

Griffin had a good rookie season in 2017 and played decently in 2018 as well. He had two interceptions and eight passes defended. While last year wasn’t his best,  Madden still gave him too low of a rating at 80 overall.

Joe Haden of the Pittsburgh Steelers had two interceptions and 12 passes defended in 2018. He was given an 84 rating. While Griffin deserves to be rated lower than Haden, he doesn’t deserve to be rated four points lower.

Adjusted Rating- 82

Poona Ford- 71

Ford had a good season, where he was rated as one of the best defensive linemen in the league by Pro Football Focus. His production wasn’t great, but in 11 games he had three tackles for loss. Even though he played well, he was rated very low by Madden.

There are six rookies who are rated higher than Ford at his position. While there is a lot of hype around the rookies, to have that many rated above one of the highest-rated defensive linemen is crazy.
