The Pittsburgh Penguins announced that defenseman Kris Letang will be back in the lineup against the Carolina Hurricanes.
The All-Star defenseman returns from an “upper-body” injury. He will be paired with Brian Dumoulin and is expected to be in the second power-play unit. Letang suffered the “upper-body injury’ in the first period of the Stadium Series against the Philadelphia Flyers on Feb. 23.

The matchup plays a big part of the Metropolitan standing. The Penguins are currently third place in the division. The Hurricanes have the first Wild Card spot. If the Hurricanes win in regulation, they would only be one point behind the Penguins.
