The Houston Rockets finally found a trade partner in the Chicago Bulls for Carmelo Anthony. The Rockets are sending the Bulls cash consideration and Carmelo Anthony. Chicago then plans to waive Anthony to allow him to become a free agent. The news was first broke by Adrian Wajnorowski of ESPN.
Anthony won't play a game for the Bulls, league source tells ESPN. He will be released and become a free agent if he clears waivers. https://t.co/Oo2IA0nsJP

Anthony only played in ten games with the Rockets before they decided to not play him any more and started looking for a trade partner. In ten games with the Rockets, he was averaging 13.4 points, .5 assists, 5.4 rebounds, and only .328 from three.
Anthony is a ten time All Star who is on the down side of his career. Look for contenders to sign him as they bolster their rosters for the playoffs.
