Ducks Fly North For Four Game Road Trip

Publish Date: February 13, 2024

The Anaheim Ducks are headed on a four game road trip this week. They will be playing four games in the next seven days.

First Anaheim will head north for games in Canada against Montreal, Ottawa and Toronto. Before they come back to the states to play one more against the Buffalo Sabres.

The Habs will be the Ducks first opponents. They beat the Ducks by one with a final score of 4-3 back in November.

Montreal is 21-23-8 with 50 points. They are currently on a two game losing streak following losses to the Blues and Stars.

Nick Suzuki scored one of the only two goals in the Blues 7-2 beat down of the Canadiens in their last game he leads the team in goals with 17 and points with 48.

Anaheim will be entering Tuesday’s match up after three days off following a 5-3 loss to the Oilers. Ryan Strome led the way with two goals for the Ducks. The loss snapped a four game point streak.

Anaheim looked in control most of the game, but Edmonton’s star studded offense was too much in the third. A lot of stress was spent on trying to slow down Connor McDavid, but he managed to assist on three goals in the third.

Greg Cronin said puck control is the emphasis for the second half of the season, and the Ducks managed that for two periods, against the league’s hottest team.

The Ducks will look again to improve their puck control tonight at 7:00 P.M. EST 4:00 PM PST on BSSD, BSSC, and NHL Power Play on ESPN+.
