Aurelion Sol Rework Skins

For the past few years, there have been rumors and even former confirmations that there was a secret rework in progress. During the past two years specifically, there was a rumor of one and then it was canceled. Now after some confirmation, Aurelion Sol was confirmed as the secret rework and Riot Games showed a bit more about him. Here is what is known about the Aurelion Sol Rework Skins.

Below are the skins that have made it to the PBE so far. As a reminder the League of Legends code was hacked and is being held by the hackers for ransom. So for now, things are a bit dicey with their releases including the Aurelion Sol rework. Here is what SkinSpotlights has gotten so far, this piece will be updated once more has been shown for the splash arts. There is a good chance that they stayed the same but that has not been confirmed yet.

It is surprising that Aurelion Sol only has three skins outside of his basic one. It will be interesting to see if he gets another one soon with his rework coming out. What is good is that all three are great skins and should allow for more opportunities now that he will be getting played on a more regular basis.

There are many in the community who believe that this rework will allow for Aurelion Sol to finally be in the meta. With roaming mid picks like Taliyah and Galio in the meta for pro play, Aurelion Sol could slide right in as an option as well. It will be interesting to see how balanced or potentially unbalanced he is on launch.
