The Atlanta Braves have acquired reliever Mark Melancon from the San Francisco Giants according to ESPN’s Jeff Passan and Buster Onley.

Melancon, 34, has a 4-2 record with a 3.50 ERA in 43 appearances so far this season. The Braves have made an effort to improve their bullpen by adding both Shane Greene and Mark Melancon at the trade deadline. Their bullpen has a 4.15 ERA this season.
There are no details yet on what the Giants will get in return.
